Never Gave Up
An old saying said,"It doesn't take guts to quit,Anyone can quit.And most people do — on their dreams and on themselves. It’s always easier to quit than to hold on.”The saying tells us the easy to quit.But when we look at the history,we will found that the famous people never giving up,they just move on.
A young man was so unlucy that he didn't get a job before the age of 25.He tried to be a worker ,or a lawer,but he didn't success.It looked like he will be failed all his life,however,he did not quit.He read books everyday and kept thinking.He became the president at the age of fifty,but the challenge was not over.The slave owners of the south thought he was haming their rights.They rebelled and threatened to remove him from office.They slected a new president to replace him.He still did not give up.Finally,he won the civil war,and became one of the greatest presidents in America.His name is Abraham Lincoin.
In Brooklyn in the 1940s,there was a little guy who never gave up.He was very thin,but he was always fighting against injustice,so he was often beaten.He always said,"I can do this all day.",then still fighted against injustice.When world war II broke out,he joined the army to fight against the evil nazis.He was too weak to join the army ,but he insisted on joining it.That was the beginning of the captain America.Because of his persistence,he went from a small man to a hero fighting for the freedom of the people.
Never giving up enables us to achieve miracles.No matter what talent you have,holding on your beliefs will always lead to a better person.Whether you succeed or not,you will surpass yourself.
